還來不及興奮,surprise three就緊接在surprise two之後

(Ms. Pujiarti Alim, President of NVDA from IIWC Indonesia)
Ms. Pujiarti Alim:

Ms. Phuc來自越南(Ms. Phuc, Director of SJ Vietnam),是第四位講者
background:once being a software engineer but no satisfaction
his ideology:give every young person a chance to change themselves and people around them
he then told a touching memory:
"Once I visited a school for blind children, there was a child who could tell the color of flowers by smelling them. After a year, I went back to the school, when I put my hands on the child's shoulders, the kid speaked out my name right away!!!"
the moment when he finished telling the story, an indescribable electric shock suddenly swept over me as I realized how volunteers could have impact on the people they contact with...I miss Wei-an and A-Bo so much......
"Just by being there with the children, you give them much you can imagine."

"Next, let's welcome Mr. Butter."

Presentation(by whom I forgot囧) - How to start an international workcamp project in your community or organization:
PART ONE- initiating workcamp through partnerships
1. Cooperation with Government Agency
-get funds;with the same goal, even though the means may be different
2. Cooperation with Village Leaders and Local Community
one conferee asked what particular things do the villagers need, and the speaker answered:health, sanitation, infracture, and roads, etc.
3. Cooperation with Local NGOs/INGOSs
-language, familiarity with the area, safety
4. Cooperation with Corperate Organization(CSR)
-If you want to run long-term project, you can't be independent without organization's funds.
-There shouldn't be any NGOs to be anti-corporate because NGOs are really in want of corporate organization's funds.
(in Europe, 40% NGOs members have the experience of kneeling down on the streets for raising funds)
5. Donor Agency
If you want to change the world, you have to change the way people think.

Question one:Why do [some] Taiwanese young people like to join in international voluntary services?
to have a open mind
to learn different things
to experience foreign local life
to build global network
to practice English
to learn new language
to search the meaning of life
to raise spiritual level
to replace military service
to give color to one's resume
Question two:Why don't other young people join in international voluntary service?
against parents' expectation(waste of money & time)
lack of expertise
without family support
no clear job information
food and disease problems
What am I waiting for!!!!!!
